"The Extraverted Sensation Type"
ES (Se)
Introduction
The Conscious Sensation Type (or Extraverted Sensation Type) is productive and proactive regarding their relationship towards the physical world. Their lifestyle is usually not lazy nor out for the stability of comfort or unchanging situations – it is instead highly active, as they seek to exercise direct influence on external circumstances by swift and pragmatic decisions. This however implies, together with their suppression of intuitive processes, that they have very little inclination to reflect on their own decisions and no big desire to question the bigger moral implications of their actions or opinions – because their biggest desire is it to have direct influence over their material, human or financial environment, not caring much about the methods used in the process, immoral or not.
Regarding politics, their attention most often shifts purely towards the economic state of a country or towards a liberal market, while often completely ignoring most other not so material or financial concerns. But some, most often these that heavily engage with nature in their personal free time, also care for environmentalism and nature preservation. They are inclined to evaluate things and people based on concrete properties like their looks, financial standpoint or usefulness. Their social behaviour ranges from optimistic and lively, to silent and serious and to unhinged and imposing, depending on the individual. Many stable workers, businesspersons and politicians are part of the Extraverted Sensation Type.
The Shadow Side
They possess inferior introverted Intuition (Ni), making their inner psychological processes quite straightforward and naive, regarding how they arrive at specific conclusions. This makes them prone to fall for things like political disinformation campaigns, public opinions, conspiracy theories, superstitions, alternative medicine or religious dogma. Remember that the specifics depend on each individual.
Their suppressed intuition can become a negative force that is directed against every conceivable detail and turns them into parodies full of silly, pedantic absurdity – this form of intuition, if it is ever achieved, can reach the lowest levels of human malice: To better explain it, it is like a compulsive, moral and subconscious force that compels them to be spiteful against any scientifically or socially-progressive topic, as in such a state they only apprehend irrational, negative possibilities. If this negative intuition is directed against oneself, then they could develop any fear, phobia and aversion imaginable – which also includes the realm of body and health.
